SPA POLICIES AND SPA ETIQUETTE

At GLB Medi Spa, we have set out to bring you an environment where the highest levels of skin and body care are provided to nurture the well being of mind, body and soul. With the latest technologies and treatments in the industry GLB Medi Spa is able to tailor each treatment to any individual’s own needs.

It is our goal to make a difference in the lives we touch by offering the highest level of service by trained professionals in the most relaxing environment for our clients.

BOOKINGS

In order to ensure that you obtain your desired appointments, we recommend booking as far in advance as possible to ensure availability.

For spa treatments we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking, this can be done over the phone by credit card or you can come into the spa and make a payment. We require this as part of our cancellation policies. Details of our cancellation policy are provided below.

CANCELLATION POLICIES AND FEES

Your spa treatments are reserved especially for you. We value your business and ask that you respect the spa’s scheduling policies. Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance for weekday appointments and 48 hours in advance for Thursday nights and Saturday appointments.

Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to losing your 50% deposit or one prepaid treatment. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be lose their deposit or one prepaid treatment.

We recognize the time of our clients and staff is valuable and have implemented this policy for this reason. When you miss an appointment with us, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time. Additionally, many times our staff will be functioning in an “on call” status and can have traveled to the spa specifically for your service. For these reasons we are obligated to compensate our staff for their time as well as make up for the lost revenue.

When you schedule your appointment with us, you are agreeing to these policies. All services require a credit card or gift certificate to guarantee a reservation so please have your credit card and/or gift certificate ready when booking. You will be billed 50% of the treatment cost at the time of booking your treatment. Upon checkout, guests may choose their method of payment for the remainder of the treatment price.

GROUP BOOKINGS

For parties of three or more, please contact us directly at the spa, for group booking policies and availability. A completed contract and deposit are required to secure your appointment and arranged pricing. Exclusive use of the Spa is available; please inquire for fees and available dates.

CELL PHONES

We kindly ask that you turn your cell phones to vibrate upon arrival and to remember to speak in your very soft spa voice once you enter the spa. Please inform your therapist should you need to make a phone call so that you may do so without disturbing other spa guests. Cell phone use may affect the length of your spa services.

PRICES AND SERVICES

Prices and services are subject to change without notice. We will do our best to keep our clients up to date on any changes that may occur but encourage all clients to inquire about pricing and available services when booking your appointment.

GIFT VOUCHER POLICY

Gift Vouchers are available in any amount and may be purchased at the spa, by the phone at 09 476 8178 or you may contact us at the contact us tab at the top right of the page. Gift Vouchers can be sent by mail. Unfortunately, we are unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transactions on gift certificates even if lost, misplaced or stolen. Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed as cash. Gift Vouchers must be mentioned when making your appointment.

DEAL VOUCHER POLICY – GRABONE AND GROUPON

Please check your voucher for terms and conditions. We do not offer refunds on these vouchers, please contact merchant.

VOUCHER TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • The first booking must be made within 1 month after voucher is purchased.
  • Max one visit per month (to allow re-growth), every 4-6 weeks for optimal results.
  • Valid for up to 3 treatments areas per visit, areas cannot be changed.
  • All treatment areas will be treated together in one appointment
  • Number of treatments is subject to therapist discretion and dependent on hair growth rate.
  • Not available for pregnant or lactating woman.
  • Brazilian, bikini, buttocks valid for females only.
  • Treatment areas must be trimmed to max 1mm length before appointment of $35 charge applies.
  • Arrive 5 minutes before treatment. Late arrivals of more than 15 minutes will have their appointment cancelled.
  • Results may vary. Voucher transferable to a friend or family if treatment is not suitable due to any medical condition found, which does not permit you to have the treatment. No refunds, not redeemable for cash, not valid for any other offers.
  • Valid Monday-Saturday (limited appointments on weekends).
  • Subject to availability.
  • 48 hour cancellation policy applies or voucher is void.
  • Booking essential (call 09 476 8178 and quote voucher ID).
  • There will always be an Expiry Date for any voucher purchased through Internet or GLB direct.
  • 6 Month Voucher – will expire 6 months after first visit.
  • 9 Month Voucher – will expire 9 months after first visit.
  • 12 Month Voucher – will expire 12 months after first visit.
  • Session vouchers will have a 2 month extension on their voucher purchased.

REFUNDS AND RETURNS

It is our mission to provide you with the highest-quality of skin and body care products with our services. In fact, you may like these products so much that you wish to use them every day in your own home! In the event you purchase any of our spa products for home use and find them to be defective, we will exchange any products within 14 days of purchase, provided a receipt is presented. Unfortunately we cannot provide cash refunds for returned products.

Instead a spa credit will be provided for any returned products to be used on any other products or spa services available here at GLB Medi Spa. We are unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transaction on any treatments that are purchased. We will, however, exchange them for other products or spa credit of equal value.

Should you recieve spa credit, this is valid for one year commencing from date of  original purchase.

CHECK IN

We ask that you please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your treatment time. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals. However, the length of service may be adjusted so as to not interrupt the scheduled appointments of other guests. Full price of scheduled services will apply, so please plan accordingly. We reserve the right to cancel your appointment should you arrive after your scheduled appointment time where there will not be enough time to perform your treatment. Clients who are late may lose their deposit or one prepaid treatment. Couples and spa parties are more than welcome to bring wine and we will provide the glasses.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

Please leave all jewelry and valuable items at home. GLB Medi Spa is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.

SPA PROMOTIONS

Spa specials cannot be used in combination with any other offer, promotions or third party gift certificates.
